blue dog Network, a fast-growing IT company in North Carolina, is expanding the national sales team. We are searching for sales managers and account executives who love the entire sales process, from cold-calling to closing.

Since you will be contacting national clients (with an outlook to global expansion by 2012), working from your virtual office is welcome.

We will give you all the sales tools you need to be extremely successful: integrated strategic sales and marketing support tools that include lead generation business and industry databases; social media contact links; national public relations; structured media exposure and more.

We are looking for the next superstars to join our award-winning team. Understanding of the latest technology trends, including cloud computing (SaaS and IaaS), will give you an edge.

Job Description

  • Prospect, identify, qualify, develop & manage sales pipeline in a defined territory/market both new (white space) prospects and existing customer base.
  • Forecast new business opportunities and activities in CRM system.
  • Update sales stage and prospect interaction in CRM system.
  • Complete deal disposition information.
  • Produce accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals and/or usage goals.
  • Perform prospect demonstrations, as needed.
  • Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects.
  • Resolve customer issues & problems; alert others as needed on red flags, cancellations.
  • Up & cross sell opportunities, probe for additional contacts/projects/opportunities.
  • Involve other sales team members as needed to increase business.
  • Meet or exceed quota and revenue targets

    • Additional Skills:

  • Experience successfully selling into technical user base & senior management (Director and above).
  • Experience working within a quota and commission structure.
  • Proficiency with email, vmail, MS Office Suite
